Equipment

All basic sewing supplies are provided for practice exercises and sample garments.

For your final projects, you will need to purchase your own fabric. Fabric requirements and recommendations will be discussed during the class.

Sewing machines are available for use during the workshop. However, if you prefer to sew on your own machine, you are welcome to bring it to class and work with the equipment you are most comfortable using.

What you'll Learn

• Explore a variety of pleat styles [Pressed, Box, Crystal, Inverted, knife and Stitched down pleats]

• Learn professional techniques for creating crisp tucks and pleats.

• Master the correct methods for pressing pleats to achieve a clean, structured finish.

• Understand how different pressing directions influence the shape and movement of pleats.

• Construct a contemporary mini pleated dress using professional sewing techniques.

By the End of the Workshop

You'll leave with a beautifully finished garment, a contemporary mini pleated dress, along with valuable sewing techniques and the confidence to apply these skills to your future fashion projects.

Sewing Lessons Level 1

A beginner sewing course where children learn basic hand and machine sewing skills while creating simple projects in a safe and creative environment.

Timing: 11 am – 12:30 PM

Sewing Workshop For Beginners

You will learn how to develop your ideas, take accurate body measurements, create your own patterns, and understand fabric materials & layout.

This is a hands - on, practical class where you will not only learn skills but also complete your own custom-made piece.

Projects include:

• Trouser

• Skirt

• Knit Shirt

• Dress( FABRIC NEEDED)
