FAKHRA ABRAR
I am a fashion designer based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, with an academic background in chemistry and finance. My practice is grounded in research and innovation, focusing on the development of new textiles and accessories through 3D printing, advanced textile technologies, and sustainable design processes.
My work exists at the intersection of fashion, science, and sustainability — where creativity is informed by knowledge and design is driven by purpose.
Alongside my design practice, I am an educationist dedicated to teaching and mentoring both children and adults. Through workshops and structured programs, I foster creativity, critical thinking, and hands-on learning. I also contribute to community leadership through my service with the Canadian Air Cadets, where I apply my financial expertise in meaningful ways.
I believe education is the foundation of progress, which is why I actively teach and mentor the next generation of creative thinkers.
